DANIEL MERLIN (French, 1861-1933) KITTENS. Fine oil on wood panel scene shows three kittens on a table top next to window. A bee is on the curtain while two kittens look on. The middle kitten is looking on fallen flower from glass vase seen on left of picture. Signed upper right “D. Merlin”. Housed in a fine deep wood replacement frame. SIZE: 9-1/2” x 13”. CONDITION: Very good. Minor touch up inpainting mostly to edges. 9-97224 (5,000-7,500)
