IMPORTANT PIERCED LAMINATED ROSEWOOD SIDECHAIR IN THE “TUTHILL KING” PATTERN ATTRIBUTED TO JOHN HENRY BELTER NYC. High back chair has tall crest with cornucopia of flowers ending in grape clusters. Curved scroll decoration with grape leaves, clusters, and acorns. Serpentine front with carved flower decoration. Rose carved French style cabriole legs supported by brass caster feet. Upholstered in red brocade flower decorated material with tufted back. Top crest has two large carved roses.
