REYNOLDS BEAL (American, 1867-1951) SETTING UP THE CIRCUS. Mixed media scene shows a tent being setup by several men, an elephant is rehearsing its tricks with other circus performers getting ready. The Big Top is seen with large pictorial stage drop. Signed lower right and dated “1932”. Housed in a fine gilt molded wood replacement frame with inner linen matte and gold liner having a label from the Guido Frame Studio, Boston. SIZE: Sight: 14-1/4″ x 18″.
