DOROTHEA M. LITZINGER (American, 1889-1925) DOGWOOD. Large oil on canvas still life shows a decorated bowl filled with blossoming dogwood branches in front of a painting of a Madonna and child. Signed upper left “Litzinger”. Housed in a period gesso decorated gilt frame with losses. SIZE: 50″ x 40″. CONDITION: Surface dirt, 8″ tear at center which has masking tape repair to back.
