VERY RARE PERCUSSION BALL AND CLAW REMINGTON CANE GUN. Cal. 32. SN: 112. 28-1/2” rnd bbl, marked on the tip “J.F. THOMAS / PATENT FEB’Y 9 1858 / REMINGTON & SONS / ILION. N.Y.” The band around the top of the action is brass instead of German silver. CONDITION: Gutta percha is generally fine but is starting to turn olive. Threads are stripped on the top and the ball and claw portion is loose. 4-53116 FS105 (4,000-7,500)
