LOT OF 2 SMITH & WESSON DOUBLE ACTION LARGE FRAME REVOLVERS. 1) Frontier Model, Cal. 44WCF (44-40), 5” bbl and 2-pc pearl grips. SN 1223. CONDITION: Fair to good. No original finish remains, having been wire wheel cleaned, patina with fine rust pitting. Grips have chipped toes and chips along the back edge with a small crack on the right side. Strong bright bore with moderate pitting, single action works fine, double action needs adjusting. 2) First Model, Cal. 44 Russian, nickel finish, 6” bbl, 2-pc monogrammed hard rubber grips. SN 15436. CONDITION: About good. Retains 10-15% original nickel having been cleaned bright, with light surface pitting. Right grip has two large chips and a crack.
