ALFRED T. ORDWAY (American, 1819-1897) SUMMER PASTURES. Wonderful oil on canvas summer scene shows a small stream winding through grass pastures lined with trees and background blue hills. Flowers line the stream and wildflowers dot the foreground. All under a white cloud and blue sky. Signed lower left “A. Ordway”. Housed in a fine gilt gesso decorated replacement frame.
