BENJAMIN CHAMPNEY (American, 1817-1907) “IN THE WHITE MOUNTAINS”. Unsigned oil on canvas scene shows fall landscape with colorful trees lining a small body of water with a woman in rowboat. Above her is a gap in the trees which shows a two rounded peak mountain. Housed in a regilt gesso decorated antique frame with name tag with title and artist. SIZE: 11-1/2” x 19-1/2”.
