*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SPECIAL ORDER TAKE DOWN RIFLE. Cal. 30 WCF SN 507121 Fine lightweight rifle with 22” tapered round lightweight bbl, ivory bead Lyman pedestal front sight and three-leaf express rear sight. It has two-thirds magazine and nicely figured uncheckered wood with straight stock and Winchester logo hard rubber shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine plus. Metal retains 95-96% strong, bright original blue with only light sharp edge wear and some flaking on the forend cap. Lever retains 85-90% original case colors, strong and bright in the sheltered areas. Hammer retains most of its original dark case colors. Wood is sound and retains most of its original bright piano finish varnish with light handling and use marks and small bruise on the stock.
