LOT OF TWO PERCUSSION LONG ARMS. (1) Late Kentucky rifle. Cal. 36. NSN. Appears to be an old parts gun, probably made from a converted flintlock bbl with 41-1/4″ oct bbl, orig fixed sights with old tumbler conversion, very late square back front action lock with simple brass furniture and dbl set triggers. Mounted in a homemade 1-pc walnut stock. CONDITION: Fair to good. Metal retains a dark crusty patina with very heavy pitting on the lockplate and around the nipple. Wood is sound with amateur refinish. Mechanics are fine. (2) Half stock fowler. Cal. about 14 bore. NSN. With 37-1/2″ oct to rnd bbl, with Belgian proof on the top flat, iron furniture with front action lock, 1-pc walnut stock with checkered wrist. CONDITION: Fair. Crusty, brown patina on all the metal.
