CHAPELLE ROOSTER LAMP. Magnificent figural lamp features handworked metal figure of a rooster with open framework body and full tail. Framework body is filled with a blown-out glass insert in bright reddish-orange with blue, white, yellow and green mottling. Rooster is mounted on a metal base with incised sunburst design. Metal base is in turn mounted on a marble platform. Glass is signed on the side with engraved signature “Muller Fres Luneville” and the metal base is signed “Chapelle Nancy”. SIZE: 17″ t x 16″ l. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some filling of natural cracks in underside of marble base. 5-65893 (8,000-12,000)
