SAVAGE NAVY REVOLVER. Cal. 36. SN 12589. 7” octagonal bbl. Standard three line marking on top of the frame. Many of these were used in the Civil War, but this one has no inspector marks. CONDITION: Faint traces of blue on the loading lever housing, otherwise gray/brown patina overall. Grips are battered at the base and worn at the high spots but retain about half of the original varnish. Front sight is a replacement. All of the nipples are chipped.
