LOT OF STARR DA ARMY REVOLVER AND MOLD. Cal. 44. SN 8330. Fine martially marked revolver with 6” rnd bbl, fixed sights, unfluted cylinder with 1-pc walnut grip that has crisp cartouches on each side. There are small inspector’s initials on the various parts. Also included is a brass single cavity original conical bullet mold with iron sprue cutter and wood handle with brass ferrule. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Revolver retains 90-92% glossy bright original blue with the loss areas flaked to light patina. Rammer and lever retain most of their original dark case colors, bright in sheltered areas. Hammer retains virtually of its bright case colors. Cylinder retains about 95% bright original blue with one white spot and some light surface etching. Grips are crisp with fine cartouches and it has gray front and back straps. Mechanics are crisp. Brilliant shiny bore, probably unfired. Mold is equally new. 4-52979, 4-52980 JR707 (3,500-5,000)
