TIFFANY STUDIOS POPPY TABLE LAMP. Beautiful sunset poppy begins with heavily mottled and striated pieces of glass in oranges, opals and yellows with variegated green foliage. All of this is set against a heavily mottled background glass with an organic feel. The poppy centers are constructed in mottled and striated blue pieces of glass while the foliage ranges from vibrant green to oceanic blue. The three row apron is made up of two rows of beautiful aqua blue glass with the center row complementing the background glass perfectly. The filigree of the leaves is applied to the underside of the shade while the exterior of the filigree represents each center of the poppy. Shade is supported by a simple three socket Art Nouveau Colonial style base that carries a statuary bronze finish. Shade is signed “Tiffany Studios New York”. Base is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 533”. SIZE: Shade measures 16” dia but is considered to be a 17” tuck-under. Overall height is 22”. CONDITION: Shade carries a wonderful patina finish and is overall very good with very few, if any tight hairlines. Base has three replaced sockets and pull chains, otherwise very good. 5-62333 (60,000-80,000)
