WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE ANTIQUE CENTRE BOWL. Outstanding Fairyland Lustre Firbolg Antique Centre bowl is heavily decorated with purple lustre Firbolgs against a red background. Interior of bowl has a pearlescent lustre finish with a Thumbelina medallion showing Thumbelina on a lily pad with a winged fairy offering assistance and a bat hovering overhead in the bottom. Rim is decorated with a black lustre band enhanced with gold gilt flowers. Marked on the underside with Portland vase mark, “Wedgwood”, “Made in England” and “Z5275”. SIZE: 9-3/4” dia x 5-3/4” t. CONDITION: Minor wear to gold gilt decoration on interior rim, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-63647 (2,500-3,500)
