SMITH & WESSON TRANSITION OLD MODEL 1-1/2 SPUR TRIGGER REVOLVER. Cal. 32RF. Blue finish, 3-1/2” oct ribbed bbl, German silver front sight, unfluted cylinder with bird head frame and 2-pc pearl grips. This is 1 of about 650 transition pieces made up from left over parts in 1869. SN 27664. CONDITION: Good. All matching except the grips which are unnumbered. Grips are amateurishly fitted from another revolver. Frame retains about 75% thinning blue bright in sheltered areas. Bbl is mostly a light brown patina with pitting around the forcing cone and bbl lug. Worn dark bore, good mechanics. 4-48056 JR145 (Anderson Collection) (500-2,500)
