RARE STONEWARE TALL JAR WITH OWL DECORATION. Mid 19th Century stoneware jar thought to be of Indiana make has owl type bird standing on blue ground next to a blue tree. A fine folk art piece with history. Tapered cylinder type jar with upper neck and rim are off round. PROVENANCE: Fendelman Sale, Sotheby’s 10/93 Auction. SIZE: 10-1/2” h. CONDITION: Some small light chips to rim, otherwise very good. 9-28319 (1000-2000)
