FINE LOT OF EIGHT LEATHER TRAVEL CASES. Lot consists of a matched set of five graduated suitcases. Each having a removable canvas outside covering. The suitcases are monogrammed “E.H.L.S.” (Eric H.L. Sexton). Each of these cases have heavy leather construction with brass hardware and sturdy handles. Three smallest cases are impress marked on the side “Manufactured by Smith of Bath”. Second largest marked “W.H. Smith (Bath Ltd)”. Largest does not appear to be marked. Middle size has eight compartments, rest having open interiors. SIZES: Range from 14” x 10” to 36-1/2” x 21-1/2”. CONDITION: leather is in good condition, hardware is fine. Outside canvas shows use. Other pieces as follows: 17-1/2” x 12” leather attaché case having lock marked “Sesamee”; 24” x 14-1/2” leather suitcase monogrammed “MLH”. Locks marked “Arthur Gilmore Inc., New York” and “Secure Lever Made in England”; 26” x 14” leather suitcase monogrammed “EMP”. CONDITION: These three show use and wear. 9-73634 (2,000-3,000)
