CIVIL WAR REVOLVER HOLSTER. Typical Civil War issued revolver holster with three, harness rivets securing the belt loop on the back, a harness rivet securing the tab on the flap and a brass stud for the tab. It has a dark brown body and had a Cheyenne plug in the toe, which is now missing. This holster came with the Rigdon & Ansley revolver sold elsewhere in this auction. CONDITION: Poor to fair. Dry and heavily crackled, missing the plug, open rear seam, missing the bottom 1/3 of the tab and the belt loop is about 3/4 torn through. Since it came with a Confederate revolver it likely is a Confederate used holster. 4-52016 JR688 (500-1,000)
