RARE COLT PATERSON CAP DISPENSER. SN: 52, matching on the case and lid. Marked “COLT PATENT / PATENT ARMS MAN G CO PATERSON; N; J.” around a rampant Colt above a Paterson-type long gun and two crossed pistols of the same type but with huge grips. The latch for the lid is a pivoting bar on the backside. CONDITION: Fine overall. Dark patina on the brass, 80% blue on the feed spring. Mechanically fine. 4-52965 FS87 (3,500-6,500)
