*GRIFFIN & HOWE CUSTOM BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 264 Win Mag. Built on a late pre-64 model 70 action with original 26” bbl that has had the sights removed. The top of bbl is marked with the G & H name and address and number “2520”. Left side of the receiver is mounted with a double-lever G & H scope mount containing a 30 mm Hensoldt DAVARI-DA 1.5-6X scope. The bolt, extractor, follower and rails are very nicely jeweled. The bolt handle is checkered and the bolt release has a custom checkered push button. It is mounted in a very nicely grained Griffin & Howe style walnut stock with extensive checkering, ebony foreend tip and shadow Monte Carlo cheek piece, 14” over a Niedner steel buttplate. It has a custom trigger guard and floor plate with very fine checkered trigger and gold initial plate engraved “JCF”. It is accompanied by a very nicely tooled leather sling. SN 516587. CONDITION: Extremely fine, retains virtually all its fine G & H custom finish to both metal and wood with only very minor handling and storage marks. Appears to have been used very little if at all.
