Red wood bridge is supported by rock sides. Sailboat is seen on calm water with houses beyond. Fine detailed painting by this artist that is known for his Maine and New Hampshire scenes. Signed lower left “GM Hathaway”. Housed in a period gesso decorated antique frame with inner gilt liner. PROVENANCE: Fine private Long Island, New York mansion. SIZE: 18” x 30”.
