OUTSTANDING PAIR OF FOLK ART CARVED WOOD LADY WHIRLIGIGS. 1) Shows a lady in red dress with black trim. She wears a red hat with black stripe and white feather plume. Her up and down arms hold a painted parasol paddle. 2) Shows a lady in gold dress with gold hat having red ribbon. She has brown painted paddles. PROVENANCE: Carved by a WWII Veteran and found in Quebec “Iles de Orleans” Canada. SIZE: Wood paddles are 6” l. Whirligigs are 15” h. CONDITION: Generally very good, there is some wear to paint surface. 9-27524 (2,000-4,000)
