FINE VICTORIAN BOWIE TYPE KNIFE. 6″ clip point blade is marked “CORSAN/DENTON/BURDEKIN & Co” on the left ricasso. An American eagle in an oval containing stars is etched on the left side of the blade. The cross guard and silverware hilt are German silver. The leather scabbard has gold decoration and German silver mounts. CONDITION: Blade is generally bright but has patches of rust stain and light pitting. Hilt is fine. There is slight separation on the top edge of the scabbard. Tip is badly dented on both sides. 4-57981 FS42 (400-600)
