SMITH CIVIL WAR CARBINE. Cal. 50. SN 18272. 21-1/2” part octagonal bbl. Marked “MANUFACTURED BY / MASS. ARMS CO. / CHICOPEE FALLS” on the left side of the receiver along with agent and patent information. There is no cartouche but there is a small “H.T” inspector mark on the left side of the stock. CONDITION: 50% blue mixed with light surface rust on the bbl, 80% on the trigger guard and rear receiver, traces in other areas. Wood is excellent. Action is tight. 4-52501 FS24 (2,000-2,500)
