UNSIGNED (Chinese, 18th/19th Century) PAIR OF CHINA TRADE INTERIOR SCENES. Oil on canvas scenes show an interior room setting with people at table. Landscape can be seen outside of window. Very colorful and housed in period ebonized wood frames with gold liners. 1) Scene shows three men at red lacquer table with stools. Two chicks are seen in round pan while other children are playing. 2) Scene shows ten people at dinner table posed as if a family portrait. Chinese lanterns hang from the ceiling with a hanging wreath. SIZE: 21-1/2” x 29”. CONDITION: Craquelure, relined, inpainting. Very good. 9-27930 (15,000-20,000)
