JACOB I. GREENLEAF (American, 1887-1968) “SUGAR HOUSE, VERMONT”. Fine oil on canvas autumn scene shows a red roofed sugar house nestled amongst tall maples with a man holding a pail walking up to the entrance. Signed lower right “J. Greenleaf”. Housed in a fine gilt molded wood replacement frame. Original artist label attached to reverse of stretcher. Also two exhibition labels, one for the Rockport Art Association and the other The Arts & Crafts Association of Meriden, Inc. SIZE: 18” x 24”.
