SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1847 CAVALRY MUSKETOON. Cal. 62. 26” rnd bbl, dated 1848 at the rear of the lockplate, 1849 on the bbl tang. No visible cartouche. All markings and features standard. CONDITION: Gray patina with moderate rust spots overall. Stock is cracked and missing chips at the front of the lockplate and at the rear lockplate screw. There is a heavy wear spot from the saddle ring at the rear of the left flat and some chips on the forearm. Action is good. 4-52509 FS32 (3,000-5,000)
