EMILE A. GRUPPE (American, 1896-1978) NEW ENGLAND CHURCH. Large oil on canvas early autumn scene shows a large Colonial white church set up on a knoll surrounded by trees with turning foliage. Several church goers ascend the steps toward the large green doors beyond the column fronted church. Signed lower right. Housed in a modern gilt frame with linen liner. SIZE: 25” x 30”.
