OLD REPRODUCTION OF A CIVIL WAR CAVALRY SWALLOWTAIL PENNANT 2nd NEW HAMSHIRE VOLUNTEER MILITIA. Fashioned of sewn wool bunting, white cotton stars (sewn with a zig-zag stitch) arranged in a central circle with one star in the center and one star in each corner for a total of 13. On the upper fly is an applied “2” of cotton felt, below is applied “NH-VOL. MIL,” A nice quality reproduction. Ties on the hoist are silk ribbon. CONDITION: Fair, the flag is stained and dark in several areas. Part of the fly shows some moth damage. 4-49179 CW (100-200)
