POTTERY CARD TRAY ATTRIBUTED TO GALLE. Nice card tray has a rolled rim with a dark blue center fading to powder blue having a rectangular card shaped design in the center surrounded by sprays of large pink petal flowers. The underside carries remnants of an original paper label from Ovington of Chicago. There is a very indiscernible signature or letters but it is certainly very similar to Galle-type pottery of the 19th Century. SIZE: 12″ l x 8-1/2″ w. CONDITION: Very good with natural, old crazing on the surface. 5-65913 (1,200-1,500)
