FINE LEVI HUTCHINS, CONCORD INLAID CHERRY TALL CASE CLOCK. Dial has phases on the moon register, minute and date registers with decorative hands. Corner of dial has star type motif with gold scrolls. Brass works. Case is inlaid with fans on door and base. Bracket base waist has quarter columns with brass capitols and quarter brass fluting. Hood has turned columns with brass finials. Levi Hutchins worked in Concord, NH and was an apprentice of Simon Willard. Moved to Concord, NH in 1786. SIZE: 85-1/2” h to top of center finial. CONDITION: Replace fretwork, refinished in very good condition. 8-75974 (6,000-8,000)
