INDIAN DECORATED BURNSIDE CIVIL WAR CARBINE. Cal. 52. SN 31311. 21″ rnd bbl. Standard markings on top of the receiver. The sling ring and bar, rear sight, buttplate, sling swivel, and rear of trigger plate are missing, mostly covered with leather of various types. There are a number of brass tacks on the buttstock. CONDITION: Rust/brown patina overall. Mechanically functional. Ear of the lever pin is broken off and missing. There is a rawhide repair with brass tacks that almost entirely cover the forearm. Hammer has been engraved with a file. Stock is broken at the wrist with chips missing. This has been repaired with tacked leather wrap. 4-58021 FS90 (2,000-4,000)
