*RARE WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 50-100-450. SN 144649. Standard carbine in very rare caliber with 22” bbl, full magazine, German silver square base front sight and three leaf express sight. It has a stud and ring in the left side of the receiver. It is fitted with uncheckered wood having straight stock and smooth steel carbine buttplate. Accompanied by a Cody Firearms Museum letter identifying this carbine and indicating shipment on February 6, 1909 to Order #192464. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbl and magazine tube retain about 95% strong original factory blue. Receiver retains 70-75% original factory blue with the missing finish flaked to a light patina. Wood is sound and retains most of a fine professionally restored finish. Lever and hammer retain about 50% muted case colors. Mechanics are fine, brilliant shiny bore. 4-52430 JR221 (12,500-22,500)
