CURRIER & IVES (American, Publisher, 19th Century) “THE GREAT DOUBLE TEAM TROT”. Conningham Checklist No. 2583. Large folio print shows two teams of horses pulling four-wheel skeleton wagons with driver. They pass in front of judging stand. Signed in print “J. Cameron 1870”. Good colors. Housed in a modern wood frame with white matte. Attached to the back is a conservators report dated 1991 which indicates a cleaning with mending to tears and color enhanced. 35mm slides of before and after are included. SIGHT SIZE: 20-1/4” x 27-1/2”. IMAGE SIZE: 16-1/2” x 27”. CONDITION: Fair with restoration spots in areas that are quite evident. 9-28713 (500-800)
