TIFFANY MARBLE & MOSAIC BAPTISMAL. Unique Louis Comfort Tiffany baptismal consists of green and white marble base supporting a gilt plaster baptismal font with green Tiffany mosaic glass design. This magnificent Tiffany Baptismal is a companion piece to the Tiffany Pulpit in the previous lot and also came from St. Paul’s Universalist Church in Meriden, CT. The marble rim in inscribed “IN MEMORY OF HARRIET POMEROY LEWIS GIVEN BY HER DAUGHTER KATE A. L. CHAPIN 1916”. CONDITION: Some minor wear and chipping to gilt plaster, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-67671 (10,000-15,000)
