19TH CENTURY BARREL FRONT TIERED WALL SHELF. The painted shelf with compartment below fitted with two half-round doors that open to reveal the shelf. The overall surface of the shelf with retaining old Chinese-style decoration in red and mustard. SIZE: approximately 36” h x 18” across the front. CONDITION: Decorated surface is worn and there are paint losses, and the painted surface is raised up in places. Paint on the base appears to be original, that on the shelf appears to be old repaint with scattered insect holes and other small imperfections. 9-29478 (350-450)
