WONDERFUL PAINT DECORATED DOME TOP SCANDINAVIAN BOX. This small 19th century box with cut out applied feet and scalloped ends for the top lid (to match the base) has overall fanciful and bold decorations with a red background and multiple color fleur-de-lis berries and flowers in white, blue, yellow, green, and black. The top with a wire handle opens to reveal a painted interior with white background and fanciful flower decorations. Also, a small lidded compartment built into the case. Bold graphic designs on the front and back, all sides and parts. SIZE: 10-1/4” w x 6-1/2” h x 6” d. CONDITION: A couple of old age splits, and some very minute imperfections.
