RARE ARTIST’S BOX FOR GRAIN PAINTING. Lift lid box has eight paint jars, brushes and ink. Also a fountain pen. Front of the box with metal label “Bartley” which is hinged and falls forward. Included in the box are three Davis patent grainers, which are rubber cylinders with designs for rolling to simulate grain painted surfaces. Instruction booklet and magazine article. Box has decorative paint which has alligatored. SIZE: 3-3/4” h x 17-1/4” w x 8-1/4” d. CONDITION: Good. 9-97074 (300-500)
