OUTSTANDING SET OF EIGHT GEORGE III MAHOGANY CARVED DINING CHAIRS. 18th Century comprising two arm and six side chairs. Each serpentine cresting rail flanked by foliate tip ears above an open work carved splat carved with ribbon C-scrolls and tassel. Straight front seat raised on straight carved trapezoid shaped legs joined by plain stretchers. Wonderful out curving carved arms with scroll ends and curving arm supports. Legs have flower carved returns and carving to front and side including vine foliate carving and carved area to bottom of legs. Upholstered in cream leather seats. A stunning set with fine carved detail. SIZE: 38” h x 18” seat h x 23-1/2” across seat rail. CONDITION: Old but not original finish, some repairs to backsplats, leather seats as is.
