JENNINGS FIRST MODEL SPORTING RIFLE. CAL. 54. SN: 91. 26” rnd bbl. The marks on the left side of the receiver have been partially removed but were the standard markings. Light scroll engraving, typical of that found on all Robbins & Lawrence guns of this time on the action, bbl and buttplate. CONDITION: Gray/brown patina with spots of light surface rust and pitting. Some battering on the front of the receiver on the right side and the solder of the magazine tube in that area has partially broken loose. Wood has normal dents and scratches.
