GEORGE PEARSE ENNIS (American, 884-1936) EASTPORT BOATYARD. Fine oil on canvas Maine coastal scene shows a large boathouse with two figures and a horse pulling up green boat to dry dock. Several boats are seen on the blue water with land and house beyond. Signed lower left “Ennis”. Housed in an outstanding modern wide gilt molded frame with multiple molding designs having a gilt wood artist plaque. SIZE: 24” x 27”. CONDITION: Relined, some inpainting.
