SMALL TABLE TOP TERRESTRIAL GLOBE BY D. C. & A. MURDOCK WEST BOYLSTON, MASS. 5” dia globe has a paper matte covering over a wood center. Round name print is to the left of North America. 19th Century. Circa 1835-1840. David Clark Murdock became partners with his son Albert in 1835. CONDITION: There are some stains, most notably in the Atlantic Ocean. Some rub marks to high points, generally intact. The globe has holes in each end from which is was probably mounted on a stand. 9-29189 (500-1000)
