SAVAGE REVOLVING RIFLE. Cal. 45. SN 424. 21-½” part oct. bbl marked “NORTH & SAVAGE / MIDDLETOWN, CONN. CAST-STEEL” on top of the bbl. When the triggerguard is pulled down it cocks the hammer and rotates the cylinder. Returning the triggerguard wedges the cylinder against the rear of the bbl. There is a small brass patchbox on the left side of the stock. CONDITION: Gray/brown patina overall with scattered spots of rust and pitting. Wood has dents and scratches.
