AFTER WILLIAM GUY WALL (American, 1792-) BAKER’S FALLS. Unsigned 19th Century watercolor of Baker’s Falls, New York after a print from the painting by William Guy Wall. The scene shows a cascading waterfall with mill having rocky banks and man standing on rock. Housed in a gilt molded wood replacement frame with reverse painted black and gold glass matte. On reverse is old description indicating the watercolor is a rendition of the Brunswick, Maine dam and mill on the Androscoggin River. SIGHT SIZE: 14” x 21”.
