ENGLISH QUEEN ANNE MAHOGANY WING CHAIR. Second half 18th century. The rectangular padded back with arched crest flanked by ogival wings continuing to rolled arms centering the trapezoidal upholstered seat with cushion, raised on frontal cabriole legs with scalloped returns, terminating in pad feet, the cylindrical rear legs backswept. SIZE: 48″ h. of back. CONDITION: Recently recovered in yellow velvet, the frame re-glued and reinforced, the legs original. Overall very good. 9-92819 (2,200-2,800)
