EXTREMELY RARE PAIR OF CHINESE EXPORT FIGURAL-DECORATED CIRCULAR PLATES AND A MATCHING SOUP PLATE. Circa 1740. Each with honeycomb-lattice border spaced by four gilt decorated landscape panels and centering a figural scene of a European barefoot fisherman holding a rod, flanked by baskets, two ducks in flight above. SIZE: Plates are 9-1/4” and 9-1/4” bowl. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection (FW Woolworth Dept. Store). CONDITION: Very good. No chips or cracks. 9-28133 (5000-10000)
