LOT OF 3 BAYONETS AND 2 SWORD SCABBARDS. 1) “U.S.” marked 1855 rifle bayonet, brass handle with “WW” inspector mark and “17” on the back of the handle – good; mottled silver and brown blade. 2) Brass handled Yaghatan 19-5/8” blade. SN 707, probably for a Spencer or Sharps & Hankins – lightly pitted blade, dinged handle, broken latch. 3) Lebel bayonet, brass handle with scabbard – good. 4) Reproduction Indian sword scabbard, purple wrapped with crude silver fittings – good. 5) Long straight sword scabbard, 38-1/2” x 2” at the top with two hangars and a tooled leather strap. The body, covered with lizard or snakeskin – skin is slightly shrunken, fair to good. 4-49241-566 JR328 (300-500)
