WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 38 WCF (38-40). SN 256605. Standard carbine with 20” bbl, Baker front sight and “1873” marked carbine ladder rear sight. The receiver has a staple and ring in the left side and it has straight grain wood with a straight stock and carbine buttplate with trap. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl and magazine tube retain about 95% original finish, strong and bright on the bbl, slightly thinned on the magazine tube. Receiver retains 88-90% original blue, slightly dulled with light surface rust pitting, mostly on the right side. Wood is sound with numerous light nicks and scratches and retains generous amounts of original finish. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bore with scattered light pitting. 4-52562 JR307 (5,000-10,000)
