FINE FEDERAL INLAID MAHOGANY LADIES DESK. Circa 1800. In two parts with cove molded top above a frieze outlined with string inlay, which is a secret drawer. Two doors, having column inlay at ends and middle divider, open to reveal four drawers and six cubby holes. Fold over writing surface with replaced green felt. Four graduated applied molded edge drawers having oval original brasses. Carved skirt with line inlay above supported by flaring French feet joined to shaped sides.
